HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Happy Anniversary to my lovely Mum and Dad. I made this card to give to them today........

 

 

I used Jens fabulous deconstructed sketch. It's no 57. You can find her HERE .

Oh, and how could I forget. I used my very favorite paper range from Simple Stories, and also some MFT dies and stamps.

Off to make another Anniversary card. Hubby and i celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday.

A THANK YOU CARD

Hi there,

Well, it looks like little Daisy might be needing her own blog. Her cute little card in my previous post won the challenge over at LaLaLand 4 kids challenge blog. Congratulations Daisy girl.

But today is my turn, and I have a Thank You card to show. I used a digi stamp called Pricilla Pie, from Saturated Canary to make a card for a special friend.

I decorated the inside as well, with two pockets to slip gift cards into. I can't remember all the designer papers I used as they were from several fifferent paper pads, possibly including Echo park and LYB.

I, of course colored her with copics and spicas.

DAISY'S CHALLENGE ENTRY

Today's post is really not my post at all. My youngest daughter Daisy, who is 10, has discovered coloring with my copic markers. She has been home from school this week with a tummy bug and made a cute little card that she wanted to enter in the LALALAND for KIDS challenge here . The challenge was to make a scene. Daisy chose everything herself that she wanted to be on her card.

I'M BACK AGAIN

Hi there,

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that it's been close to 4 months since I last posted here. So much has been happening in our lives that crafting has unfortunately taken second priority. Finally, I've managed to claim some "me" time back, and ventured into my craft room for a play.

After many days of spring cleaning, I finally sat and colored this cute Lily of the Valley image for a Mother's Day card for my lovely Mum. It's Mother's Day today here in Australia.

I stamped the image in black memento ink, colored it in with copic markers, then airbrushed the background using BG10 and 11 and some diecut cloud masks.

The patterned paper is from LilyBee, With BoBunny spot cardstock.

I finally set up my fabulous new "lightbox ministudio" to take my card pics in. I think i need to play with the settings on my camera, but I'm kind of happy with my first try.

I'm going to enter into this months copicoz flower challenge

HI FROM ANAHEIM

Hi there. Well, I've arrived at Anaheim, just settling in and getting ready for CHA.

Today is my very last post as a guest DT girl at Jen's deconstructed sketch. I've had the best 3 months on the team. Thanks Jen and all the girls.

VIOLET

For this weeks deconstructed sketch i have used another saturated canary digi stamp. Her name is VIOLET and she is SO cute. This weeks sketch suited me perfectly, as i'm still away on Summer vacation with limited supplies, and the CAS look was easy to achieve using Jen's fab sketch.

i HEART saturated canary

Yes, it's true. I really do. I have just discovered Krista Smith's amazing digital images, and they are so gorgeous. You know when just looking at something gives you that happy feeling, well that's what happens to me when i see Krista's images.

Here is my second image that i have colored from the saturated canary. I thought i would enter it in this week's saturated canary challenge # 8 here. The theme this week is clean and simple. You all know how much i LOVE my embellishments, so this one was a bit tricky for me. I made a bookmark for my crafty 14 year old daughter. She has just started her own blog today so that she can enter some challenges. I'd love you to visit her blog here

Anyway, here's my project for challenge # 8......

 

 

I used a jillibean soup Kraft tag for the base of my bookmark which i stamped with a hero arts text stamp and stitched. I colored her in using copic markers and then cut harriet's name out using mft's new alpha die. Don't fotget to check out all the other entries this week on the saturated canary blog.

DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH TIME

Hi there all. Finally the internet is back to a near normal pace again, so all should go smoothly with my post this week. LOL!

Once again, Jen has come up with an awesome sketch for DS34.

I have only just recently discovered Krista Smith's SATURATED CANARY digi stamps and I am totally in love with them. This girl is called COPICA, (for obvious reasons), and my gorgeous youngest DD said to me, "she looks just like you, Mummy". It was so cute. If only. Unfortunately, the only likeness is the copic markers, LOL.

DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH #33

Hi everyone. I hope you all enjoyed the festive season.

I'm sorry for my lack of posts lately, but the internet connection at the beach where we are on vacation is terrible. I have travelled home today to do a few jobs, including this blog post from my work computer. So, wish me luck, as I have my photo on a memory stick and haven't quite figured out how to get it onto my blog on this computer! ( I know it's sad but I really don't like computers)

Yay, it worked. Jen's sketch this week is awesome as always.
