C.H.A. NEWS FLASH

 
Well, hi there everyone from CHA!! What can we say apart from, this show is absolutely amazing. It is bigger than you could ever imagine, and so even after 3 full days of visiting as many booths as possible, we have still not managed to see every one. There is so much beautiful product in the new releases, and we have managed to upload some eye candy for you.

We have also taken quite a few classes, and our favourite would have to be Donna Downey's canvas album class with her gorgeous Prima products. She kindly posed for the photo, which we posted above & we are looking forward to sharing the techniques we learnt with you in upcoming workshops.

Hi everyone,

Waiting for CHA to begin. Soaking up the sights of Anaheim. Literally, actually. There must have been 20cm of rain in 4 hours today at Disneyland! Apparently totally uncharacteristic of California, even at this time of year.

Hello to everyone from sunny Singapore. Fiona and I are en route to Los Angeles to attend the American Craft & hobby Association trade show, and what better way to fill the airpoprt lounge waiting time than to let you all know about the classes on offer at The Imagination Factory in February.

JULIE'S CARD CLASSES

 

Make 3 gorgeous greeting cards with Julie, whilst learning valuable techniques that also come in handy for scrapbooking.

Date: Wednesday 3^rd February  Time: 7:00 – 9:00pm

JO’S LAYOUT CLASS

Our fabulous design team member Jo Boak will be teaching this great layout class. Come along and complete not one but TWO layouts in two hours. Learn the art of making handmade floral embellishments for both masculine & feminine layouts. Bring two 6X4" photos, one portrait orientation & one landscape orientation.

TRACEY’S CARD CLASS

A budget class for the beginner cardmaker. Make 6 girly themed birthday/friendship cards, whilst learning useful tricks of the trade.

CRICUT CLASS

A great class for those who come to crop nights or day scraping, learn to create amazing titles or cute embellishments! Tracey will guide you through each step,so you will feel confident to operate the cricut like a pro!

CHILDRENS CLASS

 

Join Sue for one and a half hours of crafty fun. Make a bright & funky "Summer Fun" project. Perfect for ages 7 and up.

CROP NIGHTS

Dates: Friday 12th & 26th of February  Time:6pm-midnight

Cost $12

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy new Year to all. Hope you all enjoyed  the festive season, and saw the New Year in in style, wherever you may have been.

The Imagination Factory reopened today for 2010 after a short Christmas closure. Our hours of opening remain the same over Summer, being 9.30 until 5.30 Monday to Friday and 10am until 4pm on Saturdays. Closed Sundays.

We still have good stocks of Christmas papers & embellishments for those wishing to scrap their Christmas photos. For those after new stock, we have new Prima, Bella, and KI memories products in store now & other new arrivals expected throughout January.

The biggest news of all is that Fiona & I are preparing to leave for Anaheim, USA to attend the Craft & Hobby Association trade show where we will source all the latest & greatest in products & techniques to bring back to share with you, our customers. So stay tuned for updates.(and hopefully some happy snaps with some of your favourite celebrity scrappers)

Crops resume for this year on Friday 29th January, and classes commence at the start of Feb. Details available in store now, or here on the blog soon.
